The members voted to reimburse our web master, Crystle Pishon for our annual web site fee. Members also voted to donate  $150.00  for the annual Police and Fire Explorers Awards Banquet. The Exploring Banquet was held on November 15th at the Police Academy.  There was a record breaking 164 people who attended, among them were Senior Vice Commander J. Scott Crocker, Judge Advocate Dennis O’Brien and Commander Dave Hargreaves along with their wives.

Membership:  Right now we have only 61 members who have re-upped, that is just 66 %.  We need the remaining 31 members to re-up in the next two weeks to reach our goal of 100% by the end of the year. If you have not re-upped yet, please get your dues ($35) in quickly.  You can mail it to the above address or can re-new on line with National Headquarters at  www.legion.org/renew .

The Charron Legion Award was presented on December 12th to Lebanon Police Officer Arthur Young at the Police Academy Graduation.  Officer Young is a retired Marine who served more than 20 years in the Corps.  Past Judge Advocate and Past Finance Officer Nick Pishon presented the Award to Officer Young.

Members voted to change the meeting dates from November 28th, the day before Thanksgiving, and from December 31st, News Years Eve, by combining both meetings on December 17th.

We’ll be collecting unwrapped gifts or monetary donations  for the Marines Toys for Tots program. These donations will be forwarded to Historian Bernie Ruchin, who is a co-coordinator for the program.

We wish all our members and their families a Merry Christmas, a very Happy and Healthy New Year and Happy Holidays

Next meeting is Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Police Standards in Concord.
